Overview

This is a fantastic role for an aspiring sales leader to take charge of a small global sales team and drive the next level of global sales growth. Our client is an international ESG artificial intelligence (AI) technology and data intelligence provider with an enviable international client base of asset managers, private market investors and banks. The company is a true AI disruptor in the ESG space with both public and private company ESG intelligence solutions, currently in a global growth phase.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and manage a 6-person team of quota-carrying sales professionals and BDRs in the UK, USA and Continental Europe, with plans to grow the team as the company scales internationally.
  • Develop sales strategies to penetrate new financial institution types and new international geographies.
  • Set achievable revenue targets and build a team strategy to meet them.
  • Take ownership of the entire sales process with your team, from lead generation to closing deals, including new name clients and upselling to the existing client base.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, RevOps, Operations, and Product teams to develop compelling offers that drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends and gather customer feedback to improve products and services while capitalising on market opportunities as they arise.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A proven track record of success in new business sales to asset managers, private equity firms, private credit managers, banks or insurance companies.
  • Some sales team management experience with accountability for team quotas.
  • Experience in a fast-growing or scaling company environment.
  • Exceptional communication and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to develop creative strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • The personal motivation and ability to contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team culture.
