Overview

This is a fantastic role for an aspiring sales leader to take charge of a small global sales team, and make a mark by steering the team to its next level of global sales growth! Our client is an international ESG artificial intelligence (AI) technology & data intelligence provider with an enviable international client base of asset managers, private market investors and banks. The company is a true AI disruptor in the ESG space with both public and private company ESG intelligence solutions, and going through a global growth phase displacing more established competitors. Consequently they're looking to appoint a sales leader to 'take the reigns' managing the global sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and manage a 6 person team of quota carrying sales professionals & BDRs in the UK, USA and Continental Europe, and continue to grow the team as the company scales further internationally.
  • Develop sales strategies to penetrate new financial institution types and new international geographies.
  • Set achievable revenue targets and build a team strategy to meet them.
  • With your team take ownership of the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, both with new name clients and upselling to the existing client base.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, RevOps, Operations, and Product teams to develop compelling offers that drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends and gather customer feedback to improve products and services whilst taking advantage of market opportunities as they arise.
Qualifications
  • A proven track record of success in new business sales to either asset managers, private equity firms, private credit managers, banks or insurance companies.
  • Some sales team management experience, able to demonstrate accountability for team quotas.
  • Enterprising small / scaling company experience.
  • Exceptional communication and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and decision making skills.
  • Ability to develop creative strategies that will drive revenue growth.
  • The personal motivation and ability to contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team culture.
