Job description
Head of Quality Engineering

Are you excited by the idea of helping scale a fast‑growing tech business across London, Mumbai and Austin? Do you want to lead quality engineering in a high‑impact role shaping how we deliver software, data and ML products at speed and scale? If so we'd love to hear from you!

About Us

Fospha is dedicated to building the world’s most powerful measurement solution for online retail. For over a decade we’ve helped teams make smarter decisions with full‑funnel marketing insights, forecasting and optimisation. With Fospha every team moves faster and grows smarter.

Trusted by over 200 leading brands across three continents including Huel, Oh Polly and Represent, Fospha manages $2.5 billion in annual ad spend.

We’re scaling fast across London, Mumbai and Austin and are now looking for a Head of Quality Engineering to join our Tech Senior Leadership Team to support the growth of the business by embedding quality across our software, data and ML delivery.

The Role

At Fospha speed and quality aren’t trade‑offs—they’re the same thing. Our goal is singular: to make “ship with confidence” a repeatable programmatic reality. As Head of Quality Engineering you’ll own the end‑to‑end quality strategy across our evolving platform, a complex environment spanning sophisticated data pipelines, production ML models and GenAI‑powered interfaces.

This is a high‑impact leadership role reporting to the CTO with a global remit across our UK and India teams. You’ll architect and drive our next‑generation quality framework, combining automation, observability and process design to radically reduce time‑to‑production while maintaining exceptional reliability.

You’ll work closely with peers in Product, Data Science and Engineering to embed quality thinking across the SDLC from CI/CD to non‑deterministic UI validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and embed a unified QA strategy across software, data and ML pipelines, building on existing frameworks to drive measurable improvements in speed, quality and delivery confidence.
  • Architect and execute systemic quality interventions using real‑time data and deep organisational observation to identify bottlenecks and rework process tooling and team structures.
  • Advance quality in GenAI‑powered interfaces, pioneering validation strategies for conversational and emergent UIs where traditional testing is insufficient.
  • Lead and grow a distributed QA team, evolving the current team into a global centre of excellence embedding quality engineering expertise across all delivery teams.
  • Own and communicate QA metrics, defining and reporting on speed, quality, rework and schedule achievement to drive visibility and strategic decision‑making across the SLT.
  • In addition to your core responsibilities, we expect you to be excited by the opportunity Gen AI brings and find new ways of working utilising our Gen AI hub!
What We Are Looking For
  • Senior leadership experience scaling QA or Quality Engineering functions, ideally across multiple geographies.
  • Ability to drive transformation from traditional QA to developer‑owned Quality Engineering and continuous delivery.
  • Deep technical mastery in automation frameworks, data quality engineering and ML validation.
  • Understanding of how to validate GenAI‑powered systems, including prompt resilience, output coherence and model drift.
  • Hands‑on credibility able to advise on tooling, review architecture and guide senior engineers.
Our Values and Principles
  • Seek inclusion & diversity: create an environment where everyone feels welcome and people are encouraged to speak and be heard.
  • Work Hard, Work Well, Work Together: take responsibility for making things happen independently and together; help colleagues and close loops to ensure our work is complete with lasting impact.
  • Grow: be proactive, curious and unafraid of failure.
  • Customer at the heart: care about the customer, feel their pain and build product that solves their biggest problems.
  • Candor with caring: deliver candid feedback with kindness and receive it with gratitude.
What We Can Offer You
  • Competitive salary
  • Be part of a leading global venture builder, Blenheim Chalcot, and learn from the incredible talent in BC.
  • Be exposed to the right mix of challenges and learning & development opportunities.
  • Flexible benefits including Private Medical and Dental, Gym subsidisation, Life Assurance, Pension scheme, etc.
  • 25 days of paid holiday, your birthday off!
  • Free snacks in the office!
  • Quarterly team socials.
