An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Private Client Solicitor to take on a senior leadership position as Head of Private Client with a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm based in Warwickshire. This is a rare and strategic hire, offering flexibility in both working hours and location, with hybrid working and part-time or full-time options available.

The Role

As Head of Private Client, you will lead a strong and collaborative team, taking ownership of a varied and loyal caseload of private client work while also playing a key role in the strategic direction and development of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Managing a broad caseload of wills, probate, estate administration, tax planning, LPAs, and trusts.
• Leading and mentoring a team of experienced lawyers and support staff.
• Driving business development and marketing initiatives to further enhance the department's profile.
• Collaborating with the firm's leadership team on strategy and growth plans.

Candidate Requirements

• A qualified solicitor (or legal executive) with a strong background in private client work.
• Previous team leadership experience or a clear aptitude for leading and developing others.
• Strong client care and communication skills, with a commercial and proactive approach.
• STEP qualification is desirable but not essential.
