Overview

Head of Partnerships - CleanTech & Energy at Genie AI. Build and lead Genie AI’s partnerships strategy in the CleanTech and Energy sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Build and lead Genie AI’s partnerships strategy in the CleanTech and Energy sectors
  • Develop partnerships with energy providers, CleanTech firms, utilities, accelerators, and industry associations to accelerate adoption
  • Demonstrate how AI can reduce contract friction, accelerate deal-making, and cut costs in energy and climate-focused industries
  • Go-to-market enablement: co-create joint value propositions and go-to-market motions with partners
  • Drive revenue growth by delivering new business opportunities through partnerships that expand pipeline and ARR
  • Sector advocacy: position Genie as a thought leader in legal AI for CleanTech and Energy
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work with Product to shape features for energy and sustainability clients
Success metrics and onboarding
  • First 90 days: setup for success; high-level 90-day plan discussed during interview process
  • End of first six months: secure 2–3 high-impact partnerships; deliver a repeatable framework for evaluating, closing, and managing partnerships; build a strong pipeline of co-marketing and joint sales opportunities
  • Ongoing: measure success by number/quality of partnerships, revenue influence, pipeline contribution, and brand presence in CleanTech & Energy
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in partnerships, alliances, or business development at senior level
  • Background in SaaS, CleanTech, or Energy markets
  • Strong network of decision-makers in utilities, renewables, or CleanTech ecosystems
  • Excellent commercial acumen and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to build frameworks and processes in a fast-moving startup environment
