Location: West Midlands | Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 basic + bonus & benefits

The opportunity: Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of Operations will play a pivotal role in leading and optimising all core operational functions within a growing manufacturing business. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for operational performance, people leadership and the delivery of the company's long-term strategic objectives. This role requires a visible, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee Production, QHSE, Planning & Purchasing and Continuous Improvement functions.
  • Develop and deliver operational strategies aligned to the company's growth plan.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and operational excellence across all production areas.
  • Ensure production plans meet customer demand, quality standards and delivery targets.
  • Work closely with Scheduling, Maintenance and Quality to maximise efficiency and resource utilisation.
  • Champion safety, quality, environmental and compliance standards across the operation.
  • Recruit, develop and performance-manage high-performing operational teams.
