Head of Office – Rural Property / Estate Management – Cumbria - £80,000 + Benefits

The Job:
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and commercially minded individual to lead a well-established rural professional office in Cumbria.
This senior position is suitable for a qualified rural surveyor with proven leadership skills and a strong track record in delivering professional advice across rural property, estate management, or wider land-based consultancy services. The successful candidate will manage a high-performing team, develop client relationships, and drive growth across a diverse portfolio of rural and agricultural clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of rural professionals
- Oversee estate management and consultancy services for private and institutional clients
- Drive business development and contribute to strategic planning
- Maintain high standards of client service, compliance, and professional integrity
- Act as the senior contact for the office, working closely with partners/directors to ensure commercial success

The Candidate:
- MRICS and/or CAAV qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Solid background in rural property, land management, or agricultural consultancy
- Commercially astute with a proactive, client-focused approach
- Strong local knowledge of Cumbria and surrounding regions is advantageous

The Package:
- Salary £60,000 - £80,000 basic DOE
