This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for shaping and delivering the organisation’s technology strategy, overseeing IT operations at scale and leading a major multi‑year digital transformation programme.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, IT & Procurement, the role sits on the Strategic Leadership Team and plays a critical part in enabling organisational performance, resilience and future growth.
This organisation operates at significant national scale across multiple sites and services, supporting communities across the UK. With a clear strategic plan and strong social purpose, the organisation is investing heavily in digital capability to improve outcomes, efficiency and colleague experience.
Technology is seen as a key enabler of change — supporting service delivery, financial sustainability and data‑led decision making across a complex, regulated environment.
As Head of IT, you’ll provide both strategic and operational leadership across all technology services, leading a large multi‑disciplinary IT function. You will own the IT strategy and roadmap, ensure resilient and secure systems, and play a leading role in delivering major systems replacement and digital transformation initiatives.
