The Role

You will spearhead the Insolvency Department, with responsibility for shaping strategy, developing client relationships, and driving growth. This warm platform comes with strong referral streams from the firm's established dispute resolution, corporate and property departments, creating a fertile environment for rapid team development.

Your work will cover the full spectrum of insolvency-related work, with a strong focus on acting for insolvency practitioners on the recovery of assets for creditors. This includes:

• Advising receivers, liquidators, trustees in bankruptcy, and insolvency practitioners
• Pursuing recovery actions to maximise realisations for creditors
• Handling a wide variety of insolvency-related disputes across multiple sectors
• Working closely with colleagues in corporate and litigation teams to provide a joined-up approach

The Ideal Candidate

• Insolvency Lawyer with 8+ years' PQE (no upper limit)
• Strong track record of insolvency work, ideally on behalf of insolvency practitioners
• Entrepreneurial outlook with enthusiasm to build and lead a practice
• Commercially astute, collaborative, with strong client care skills
• Leadership or mentoring experience advantageous but not essential
