Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the Hydro & Power Station industry.
  • Strong commercial and technical understanding, ideally with an engineering background.
  • Knowledge of rotating machines and ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Skilled in tendering and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the UK & Europe Hydro Market strategy.
  • Lead market analysis, customer development, and account management.
  • Represent the company at sales and marketing events.
  • Manage the bid process, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Hydro customers.
  • Support project lifecycle from handover to completion.
  • Mentor and train project teams.
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and develop the UK & Europe Hydro Market strategy.
  • Lead market analysis, customer development, and account management.
  • Represent Quartzelec at sales and marketing events.
  • Manage the bid process, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Hydro customers, building strong relationships.

  • Mentor and train project teams, sharing specialist knowledge.
