Job description
Head of Philanthropy
Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity

London (Hybrid) | £55,000–£65,000

At Future Dreams, we believe no one should face breast cancer alone. From our dedicated support centre in King’s Cross to our nationwide community of specialist nurses, counsellors and volunteers, we stand beside people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

We’re now looking for a Head of Philanthropy who can help us grow the life‑changing work we do — someone who sees fundraising not just as income generation, but as a powerful act of connection, compassion and impact.

Your opportunity to make a difference

In this pivotal role, you’ll shape and grow a philanthropy programme that fuels hope, support and resilience for thousands of people each year. You’ll inspire major donors, high‑net‑worth supporters and individuals to fund work that changes lives today and shapes breakthroughs for tomorrow.

What you’ll be doing
  • Building heartfelt, long‑term relationships with donors who want to make a meaningful difference.
  • Creating personal, memorable giving experiences that reflect the courage and stories of the people we support.
  • Leading major donor, individual giving and legacy programmes with creativity and ambition.
  • Working closely with our CEO, Director of Fundraising and dedicated volunteers to open doors and deepen engagement.
  • Developing compelling campaigns and donor journeys that help people see the impact of their generosity.
What you’ll bring

You’ll have a track record of securing significant gifts, but more importantly, you’ll have the warmth, credibility and emotional intelligence to build trust and inspire action. You’ll be proactive, strategic and deeply motivated by the idea of helping people at a time when they need it most.

Why this role matters

Every conversation you have, every relationship you build and every gift you secure will play a part in ensuring that nobody faces breast cancer without support, community or hope. This is a role with real purpose - and the chance to leave a lasting legacy.

This is merely a taster for the opportunity and please view Future Dreams website to review the full job description.
