Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Financial Operations in the UK: Set up and structure finance activities in the UK, aligning them with the Head Office in France.
  • Process Enhancement: Design, streamline, and enhance financial processes, ensuring seamless integration of the UK’s FP&A function with the Head Office.
  • Design Operating Model: Collaborate with the Head Office to design the organization’s operating model for the UK branch.
  • Budget & Forecast: Produce budget and forecast for the UK perimeter in collaboration with headquarters.
  • Reporting: Produce financial reports that support the Head Office, maintaining and improving reporting processes, and understanding reporting issues with local authorities.
  • Financial Performance Monitoring: Provide visibility of UK financial performance from a financial planning and analysis perspective.
  • Reporting Structure: Report directly to the CFO UK and collaborate with the Head Office in a matrix, cross‑functional structure.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Financial / Chartered Accountancy degree.
  • Significant experience in similar responsibilities in a previous role.
  • Strong financial planning and analysis expertise.
  • Familiarity with the insurance sector is a plus.
  • Strong reporting acumen and in-depth knowledge of financial regulations.
  • Attention to detail and meticulous financial practices.
  • High degree of rigor, able to design a target operating model for financial operations.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally and in a multicultural environment.
  • Positive energy, agility, and team spirit.
