Are you a strategic finance leader ready to make a meaningful impact in a respected local charity? We’re looking for a Head of Finance to lead our finance function, ensure excellent stewardship of resources, and support our long‑term sustainability. You'll work closely with the CEO, Treasurer, and leadership team to deliver our 2030 vision, driving financial clarity, compliance, and confidence across the organisation.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead financial planning, reporting, and controls across the Age UK Oxfordshire Group
  • Deliver accurate, timely management accounts and statutory reporting
  • Oversee payroll, office management, and facilities to ensure operational efficiency
  • Act as Company Secretary, supporting governance and long‑term strategy
  • Manage and develop a small, high‑performing finance team
  • Support cross‑functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Chartered accountant status (ICAEW, CIPFA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Senior finance experience, ideally in the charity or VCSE sector
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to our values and mission
  • Knowledge of charity finance, governance, and compliance (desirable)
