Job summary

A growing SME in manufacturing/distribution is seeking a Head of Finance to oversee financial reporting and manage the finance team. This role is based just outside Bolton and offers a competitive salary between £80,000 and £95,000 plus benefits. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Manage cashflow and perform variance analysis.

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a growing SME manufacturing/distribution business in their search for a Head of Finance to work out of their offices just outside Bolton.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for month-end close
• Manage the financial reporting process
• Cashflow management
• Variance analysis and reporting on trends
• KPI Reporting
• Statutory accounts production
• Lead on compliance
• Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
• Management of the finance team

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Strong technical accounting background
• Advanced Excel skills
• Hands on and able to get into the detail of an organisation
• Excellent staff management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workloads
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
