Job summary

A leading ground engineering contractor in Southampton is seeking an experienced engineer to address domestic subsidence issues. The role requires a degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, with at least 10 years of experience, particularly in designing geotechnical solutions. Responsibilities include diagnosing properties, creating repair designs, and supporting Area Managers through technical training. Qualifications

• 10 years experience in engineering, preferably in domestic subsidence.
• Track record of designing geotechnical solutions.
• Experience in retaining wall analysis and design.

Responsibilities

• Visiting properties online and in person to diagnose subsidence issues.
• Creating designs for subsidence repair.
• Providing technical support and training for Area Managers.
• Quality checking of designs and quotations.
• Customer-facing meetings to educate the market.
