About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Head of Care to lead and develop high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with dementia. Working closely with the home's management team, you will oversee the operational management of dementia households, ensuring colleagues are supported, confident, and delivering outstanding care at all times. You\'ll work collaboratively with residents, families, carers, and external agencies to plan and implement care that promotes independence, wellbeing, and meaningful living. Your leadership will be key in guiding and mentoring the team, promoting best practice, and ensuring exceptional standards are maintained across all shifts.

About You
  • NVQ Level 3 in Dementia Care (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to work towards a Level 3 Certificate in Team Leadership if not already achieved
  • Proven track record in leading and managing teams within a dementia care setting
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and act as a positive role model
  • Passionate about providing compassionate, person-centred care
