Kingston Grammar School prides itself on offering a rich and diverse co-curricular programme that nurtures every student in their intellectual, physical, and creative development. We are now recruiting for a Head of Dance who can provide inspirational leadership, strategic direction and high-quality teaching within the Drama/PE Department.

This role will promote a vibrant culture of creativity, technical excellence and inclusivity, ensuring dance plays a central role in the school’s academic and co-curricular life. The successful candidate will be able to deliver high-quality, creative and technically rigorous dance lessons across a range of styles whilst leading the school’s co-curricular dance programme. There will be the opportunity to direct and produce dance showcases, school productions and lead on House Dance competitions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Dance, strong and demonstrable record of effective teaching and choreography and the ability to lead and motivate students of all ages. The role is offered on a part time basis working two days per week, term time only. The days of the week will be Tuesday and Wednesday and exact hours to be agreed. The contract will be for an initial fixed term of six months from January 2026 until July 2026.
