About The Role

To create and develop the departmental creative/web design strategy, which satisfies customer requirements ensuring that will deliver the core values and attributes of the brands

Accountabilities
  • Working with the creative/design team to plan, deliver and create a strategic vision for internal brands.
  • Building an environment for the creative team to work in and overseeing their ideas and projects.
  • Taking responsibility for the creative philosophy and the standard of output across the department.
  • Developing ideas for advertising including TV and /or promotional campaigns.
  • Pitching concepts/ presenting to brands/directors.
  • Overseeing several projects from start to finish, keeping to deadlines, and signing off on these projects before they are presented.
  • Working with the online creative team to deliver brand consistency.
  • Understanding the commercial aspects of the business.
  • Work closely with marketing, Buying & Merchandise colleagues to showcase range through all channels to market to maximise product performance & impact.
  • Identify the need for and effectively manage change.
  • Develops strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Ensures effective team working to enhance individual ability and overall team dynamics to contribute to the business now and in the future.
  • Builds good working relationships & works in a collaborative manner with other functions and senior managers to solve business issues.
  • Work closely with peers and senior management to ensure all processes are executed correctly and on time across creative and related functions.
  • Agrees objectives with direct reports, manages their performance and provides coaching, advice and guidance so they can work effectively & develop within their roles.
  • To be committed to good outcomes for customers at all times
About You
  • Proven experience of managing a Creative/Design team
  • Sound experience of creating multiple differentiated brands in a Multi-channel business
  • High level planning and prioritisation skills
  • Proven experience gained in a supply chain environment with a full appreciation of all business functions and all internal relationships
  • Ability to lead through rapid change
  • Sound experience of people management, with coaching skills
  • Commerciality and sound judgement
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels of the business
  • Able to commute to Bradford city centre
  • Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas
