Lead the Future of Nuclear Commercial Strategy

At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Head of Commercial at Dalton Avenue, near Warrington (Cheshire), Newbury (Berkshire), or Bristol.

The role

As a Head of Commercial, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a pivotal leadership role where your expertise will directly influence our ability to deliver critical national infrastructure projects safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commercial compliance and performance.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Commercial Managers to deliver strategic commercial outcomes.
  • Driving long-term strategy and identifying growth opportunities within regulated environments.
  • Supporting business unit leadership with commercial, supply chain and contract management expertise.
  • Reporting directly to the Commercial Director and partnering with the Head of Business Stream.

You’ll work 37 hours per week, based at one of our Cavendish sites, including Warrington (Cheshire), Newbury (Berkshire) or Bristol, with 2–3 days onsite.

Essential experience of the Head of Commercial
  • Demonstrating strategic leadership in complex commercial environments.
  • Navigating commercial risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Working confidently with NEC contracts.
  • Bringing senior-level commercial experience within a regulated industry.
  • Managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Qualifications for the Head of Commercial
  • A degree in a relevant discipline is beneficial.
