Head of Client Value Proposition
Role Purpose

Are you passionate about shaping exceptional client experiences? As Head of Client Value Proposition, you'll define, design, and deliver a compelling proposition for our high-net-worth private banking clients. You'll lead a team of Product Owners and a Rewards & Benefits Lead to bring this vision to life.

This role is central to Investec's strategic growth ambitions. You'll craft the client experience across lending, banking, savings, FX, credit card and lifestyle benefits, ensuring every product and service aligns to a coherent, relationship-led offering.

You won't own business strategy or pricing, but you'll ensure the client value proposition and product execution fully support the Private Client strategy.

What will you be doing?
  • Shape the vision: Develop a multi-year roadmap for our client value proposition, grounded in client insights and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead and inspire: Manage Product Owners and the Rewards & Benefits Lead, ensuring their roadmaps reflect the proposition vision.
  • Understand our clients: Drive deep research and translate insights into product requirements and journey design.
  • Deliver commercial impact: Influence metrics like acquisition, engagement, retention, and cross-sell.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with Marketing, Tech, Data, and Relationship Managers to operationalise the proposition.
  • Enhance partnerships: Shape strategic collaborations with wealth and lifestyle partners to amplify the client journey.
What do you need to bring?
  • 12-15+ years in financial services, ideally in HNW or mass affluent banking, with leadership experience in client propositions or loyalty strategy.
  • Proven ability to lead product teams and deliver experience-led transformation.
  • Deep understanding of client insight, segmentation, and digital experience.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a customer-first mindset.
  • Expertise in product lifecycle management and leveraging data for proposition design.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

As part of our collaborative & agile culture, our working week is 4 days in the office and one day remote.
