A leading agricultural services provider in Harrogate is seeking a Head of Business Development on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Kiwa Agri Food is seeking a Head of Business Development to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll provide strategic direction for business development across our core service lines: Certification, Consultancy, Inspection, and Training. This role offers flexibility to work remotely or on a hybrid basis, with UK and international travel required, alongside visits to our Harrogate office.
Lead the development and delivery of Kiwa Agri Food's business growth strategy across our service lines. Map customer needs, simplify the customer journey, and proactively convert sales opportunities. Identify market gaps, develop competitive pricing structures, and expand existing value propositions. Generate and convert leads for both existing and new service lines, ensuring seamless delivery with the Operations team. Strengthen and expand client and scheme-owner relationships through a Key Account Management approach. Provide leadership and support to the Sales Executive, ensuring delivery of growth objectives. Collaborate with the SMT and Scheme Managers to design and deliver compelling national and international proposals. Support the Kiwa UK marketing team to raise Kiwa Agri Food’s profile. Represent Kiwa UK at leading industry conferences in Food Safety.
