Reports To: Managing Director (MD)
Job Purpose
To lead and manage the Accounts & Finance section of the Company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory regulations, effective cost control, payroll management, and smooth financial operations for security guard deployment and client billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate recording of income, expenses, and cash flow
- Monitor profitability of contracts and guard deployment costs
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports and profitability analysis
- Billing, Payroll & Cost Control
- Supervise client billing, invoicing, and receivables collection
- Manage payroll for guards and staff, including overtime, allowances, and deductions
- Ensure timely payment of salaries, wages, and statutory benefits
- Control operational costs and prevent financial leakage
- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, and Bangladesh labor laws.
- Prepare and submit VAT (Mushak) and tax returns within deadlines
- Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit observations
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls
- Cash, Bank & Fund Management
- Manage cash flow, bank transaction, and fund utilization
- Authorize payments and monitor cash requirements
- Maintain liaison with banks and financial institutions
- Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead, supervise, and develop the accounts team
- Allocate tasks and ensure timely completion of work
- Coordinate with Operations, HR, and Admin departments
- Policy & System Improvement
- Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Implement accounting software and financial systems effectively
- Advise management on financial risks and improvement opportunities
- Other Responsibilities for Accounts Manager:
- Yearly submission of Income Tax Accounts to auditor and Tax office.
- Any other task assigns by Top Management (Director's Personal & Companies work)
