A local pub in South Yorkshire is seeking a talented Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations and enhance the menu. The successful candidate will have experience as a head or sous chef with a strong track record in fresh food kitchens. The position of Head Chef is available at a recently refurbished country pub located in a village setting North of Sheffield, that has a great reputation for offering its guests good quality dining. The pub restaurant currently serves traditional pub classics using the best of local seasonal produce but as head chef you will have a strong input on the menu. The Owner of this pub is looking for a Head Chef who has new ideas to help improve the food offered at the pub. In this “hands on” role of Head Chef you will be responsible for the running of all aspects of the kitchen including costing, H&S, training and developing your team working in a brigade of 3 chefs.
An experienced head or sous chef that can develop and improve menus with their ideas with a proven track record working in high quality fresh food kitchens.
Due to the location of this property it is essential that all applicants have access to their own transport
