Job Description
  • Ensure compliance with SHE legislation, CDM regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain and improve SHE management systems (ISO 14001, 45001).
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Lead incident investigations and produce root cause reports.
  • Provide expert coaching to project teams and supply chain partners.
  • Review RAMS and project plans for SHE compliance.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and champion behavioural safety initiatives.
  • Contribute SHE expertise to bids and pre-construction planning.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and promote a positive SHE culture.
The Successful Applicant
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Health & Safety.
  • Strong understanding of SHE legislation and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SHE platforms (e.g., Airsweb).
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills.
  • Willingness to develop knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 & BSR.
