Growth Marketing Manager

Location: Essex (Hybrid)

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000

IMPACT EVOLVE are working with a fast‑growing consumer brand to recruit a Growth Marketing Manager. This is a business with a strong reputation for quality and innovation, operating in a product‑led, high‑volume environment that’s seen significant growth in recent years.

This is a pivotal role within an independently owned company at an exciting stage of its journey. You’ll be responsible for bringing growth marketing fully in‑house and driving sustainable, profitable growth across the full customer lifecycle from acquisition through to retention and repeat purchase.

This role is suited to someone who has worked with consumer products, ecommerce or DTC brands, understands how customers discover, evaluate and repurchase products, and is comfortable operating at scale.

If you’re commercially minded, experimental by nature, and motivated by owning growth outcomes rather than managing suppliers, this role could be for you.

What you’ll be doing
  • Own and deliver the brand’s growth strategy, with full accountability for customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value in a consumer‑led, product‑focused business.
  • Take complete ownership of paid acquisition across Google Ads, Meta and other paid social platforms, optimising for volume, efficiency and long‑term customer value rather than lead generation alone.
  • Identify, test and scale new growth channels and tactics suited to consumer audiences, including TikTok, Pinterest, affiliates, partnerships and emerging platforms.
  • Work closely with internal creative and content teams to brief, test and iterate on assets that resonate with real customers and drive conversion across the funnel.
  • Build and own the experimentation roadmap, running structured A/B tests across ads, landing pages, CRO initiatives and ecommerce journeys.
  • Lead SEO activity in‑house, focusing on commercial keywords and product‑led organic growth.
  • Develop and manage growth forecasts, budgets and performance targets, linking activity directly to revenue, margin and repeat purchase behaviour.
  • Shape lifecycle and retention activity across email, CRM and retargeting, improving frequency, loyalty and customer lifetime value.
  • Create clear, insightful reporting that helps the business understand what’s driving demand and purchasing decisions, not just clicks.
  • Stay ahead of consumer trends, platform changes and competitor activity within retail and consumer markets.
What we’re looking for
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a growth, performance or digital marketing role within a consumer brand, ecommerce, DTC or product‑led business.
  • Proven experience driving growth for tangible products or consumer services, with an understanding of high‑intent, high‑volume funnels.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise in Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) and Meta Ads, with a focus on revenue, ROAS and incremental growth.
  • Experience testing and scaling new channels that reach consumer audiences, not just B2B lead gen.
  • Commercially astute, comfortable owning budgets and showing impact on CAC, LTV and profitability.
  • Highly analytical, confident working with data in Excel or Sheets; GA4, ecommerce tracking and attribution experience strongly preferred.
  • Data‑led but creatively minded, able to collaborate with designers and content creators to produce assets that sell products and build the brand.
  • Proactive, curious and accountable. Someone who enjoys working in consumer focused environments.
  • A collaborative team player who takes responsibility, welcomes feedback and always prioritises customer and business outcomes.
