Overview

Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with a highly successful independent Tour Operator who are looking for a Groups Specialist to join their team.

Role

As a Groups Specialist you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing group travel arrangements while delivering an excellent experience for our clients travel agency partners. This role involves handling all aspects of group bookings including flights, accommodations, and transportation, liaising with airlines, and acting as the main point of contact for agents from inquiry to post-travel feedback. The Groups Specialist will prepare tailored quotes and itineraries, ensure accurate confirmations and documentation, manage payments, and proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within group travel packages.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage group travel arrangements; handle flights, accommodations, and transportation; liaise with airlines; serve as the main contact for travel agency partners from inquiry to post-travel feedback; prepare tailored quotes and itineraries; ensure accurate confirmations and documentation; manage payments; identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within group travel packages.
