The Group Product Manager is responsible for leading a VXBS Tribe (a distinct product area consisting of a group of scrum teams), ensuring the successful delivery and adoption of high-impact products and features. The GPM drives long-term product strategy for the tribe, and the role includes line management of tribe POs and PMs. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, deep market understanding, and strong leadership skills. The GPM will work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment with business goals and market opportunities. This role reports to a Product Director or Senior Director.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
At least 5-7 years of proven experience in a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager role, Product Lead or Group Product Manager preferably in a Fintech or tech start-up environment. Experience coaching and managing other Product Managers. Strong understanding of agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban, with experience managing multiple teams. Proven ability to define and prioritize product backlogs, making tough trade-offs and data-driven decisions. Experience in crafting long-term product strategies based on market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis. Strong financial acumen and ability to make informed decisions based on financial analysis and market opportunities. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing decision-making at multiple organizational levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience in Fintech domains such as payments, FX, transaction banking, or trading is preferred.
