This newly created Group People Development Manager role leads the Group-wide EDI, Great Place to Work and leadership development agenda across a 60-site, multi-site organisation. It offers senior stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to shape culture, capability and future leadership at scale.

Client Details

A well-established UK-based, multi-site organisation with a strong operational footprint and a central head office function. The business employs around 1,750 people across c.60 locations and is investing in its people strategy, culture, leadership capability and ESG agenda as part of its next phase of growth.

Description
  • Lead the Group-wide people development strategy across EDI, Great Place to Work and Learning & Development
  • Own and drive the Great Place to Work agenda, employee engagement and culture initiatives
  • Design and deliver leadership development, succession planning and future talent programmes
  • Develop and embed the Group EDI strategy, tracking progress and advising senior stakeholders
  • Improve utilisation of the Apprenticeship Levy and oversee group-wide L&D activity
  • Review and standardise group induction and onboarding processes
  • Partner with senior leaders and influence stakeholders across a multi-site organisation
  • Manage budgets, contribute to ESG initiatives, and support wider people projects
Profile
  • Experienced in designing and delivering leadership development and succession planning programmes
  • Strong knowledge of EDI principles with experience embedding inclusive practices across the business
  • Skilled in using employee engagement tools to shape culture and achieve Great Place to Work certification
  • Confident influencing and advising senior stakeholders across multiple sites
  • Able to analyse workforce data and translate insights into actionable people strategies
  • Experience in managing the Apprenticeship Levy or similar learning and development budgets
  • Proactive and visible, able to lead group-wide initiatives from strategy to delivery
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to present to senior leadership and drive meaningful change
