Overview

We want you to work on exciting documentaries such as 24 Hours in A&E, proactive news for national media and high-profile announcements. Our Group Media, Content and Campaigns Manager develops strategies, stories and content to help us deliver our ambition of providing outstanding care, together.

Responsibilities
  • Lead planning of external campaigns (e.g., winter preparedness) and manage media handling for high-profile issues.
  • Research, write positive and engaging stories for media and corporate communication channels; develop relationships with key journalists.
  • Support and train staff for broadcast and print interviews, and advise senior colleagues on media approach.
  • Oversee social media channels, create engaging content for external platforms.
  • Handle reactive media enquiries and provide media support in emergencies or major incidents.
  • Contribute to forward planning with the wider team, maintain an issues log, and follow current affairs especially in relation to the NHS.
