Group Marketing Manager

Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 per year (DOE)

Location: Preston | On-site

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, creative, and commercially-minded Group Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing across our growing automotive based groups.

This is not a single-brand role. You will lead and deliver marketing activity across:

• MM Acquisitions Ltd – Used commercial vehicles
• Maxus North West Ltd – Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs)
• Kässbohrer UK – Premium trailer manufacturing & distribution
• UK Asset Services Ltd – Contract hire, leasing, and fleet management for heavy goods vehicles

If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment and enjoy balancing strategy, content creation, and execution, this role offers real variety and responsibility. You’ll be central to how our brands look, sound, and perform across digital, social, print, and online advertising platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Group Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end marketing delivery across all group companies.

Digital, Website & Advertising

• Ensure all group websites remain accurate, current, and visually engaging.
• Create, check, upload, and manage sales adverts across websites and third‑party platforms.
• Update stock, pricing, and availability while removing sold assets promptly.
• Work closely with key account managers to maximise advertising packages and resolve technical issues.

Content Creation & Brand Presentation

Capture high‑quality imagery of:

• Trucks and trailers (MM Acquisitions & Kässbohrer UK).
• LCVs (Maxus North West Ltd).
• Produce professional short‑form video content for social platforms.
• Create compelling visuals, graphics, and branded content aligned to each business.
• Generate specification sheets and convert them into polished, high‑performing sales adverts.

Social Media & Campaign Management

Plan and execute social media strategies across:

• TikTok.
• Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram).
• LinkedIn (particularly for B2B brands like Kässbohrer UK & UK Asset Services Ltd).
• Manage all print and digital campaigns across the group.
• Increase brand visibility, engagement, and inbound enquiries.
• Adapt tone and content style to suit each individual brand and audience.

Strategy, Analysis & Execution

• Analyse performance, trends, and customer behaviour to refine campaigns.
• Balance multiple projects across different businesses while meeting deadlines.
• Use data and insight to drive measurable results.
• Support wider business objectives with targeted marketing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Marketing experience is essential – applications without proven experience will not be considered.

Essential

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing.
• Experience within automotive or commercial vehicles industries.
• Strong social media and content creation background.
• Confident using:
• Adobe Creative Cloud / CapCut / Canva.
• Windows & Mac operating systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Strong communication skills with internal teams and external partners.

Desirable

• Automotive or Autotrade experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a relevant field.
