Group HR Advisor

Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday & 8:30am - 4pm Friday

Salary: Up to £45,000 (D.O.E)

The Role

Reporting to the Group Head of HR, you will be a key member of the Human Resources department. You will act as a trusted confidante, providing professional support and advice to managers and employees alike. This role requires a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving and the ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the HR team with all administration tasks.
  • Manage employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, and grievances.
  • Lead the recruitment process, from writing job descriptions and conducting interviews to providing candidate feedback.
  • Handle all employee‑related paperwork, including contracts and onboarding documents.
  • Maintain the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and generating reports.
  • Monitor probation periods and facilitate sickness absence management.
  • Coordinate company benefit schemes and assist with strategic HR projects.
  • Organise company social events to promote team engagement.
