Group Accountant - PE-Backed Manufacturing Group

Clitheroe | £65,000 + Benefits

A growing, PE-backed manufacturing group is gearing up for a major 4‑5 year value‑creation journey. With significant investment and group‑wide efficiencies underway, the central finance function is expanding, and we are supporting the business in appointing a Group Accountant to help strengthen reporting, support consolidation activity, and play a visible role in this next phase of growth.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will work closely with the SLT, Investors and the wider finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver group consolidations + statutory reporting (UK GAAP)
  • Help streamline reporting processes across multiple entities
  • Contribute to value‑creation projects and efficiency initiatives
  • Work alongside group‑level leadership to deliver accurate and timely information
Qualifications
  • ACA, practice‑trained (Big 4 / Top 10 ideal) with 2‑3 years PQE
  • Confident partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Commercially driven and technically strong
