Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in groundworks.
• Experience with cost control systems and commercial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of tenders, take-offs, and estimates.
• Prepare and submit applications for payment and manage project valuations.
• Assess and agree variations during construction.
• Procure and order materials in line with site schedules.
• Set and monitor targets for site teams.
• Work collaboratively with managers, engineers, and clients.
• Support with cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Skills

Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (especially NEC3/NEC4)

Proficiency in MS Excel

Excellent analytical skills

Negotiation skills

Communication skills

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
