Grounds Maintenance Operative

Aylesbury

£28,500 per annum

Full-time, permanent position

Must hold a full UK driving licence

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Carry out high-quality grounds maintenance across premium sites, maintaining exceptional presentation standards
  • Grass cutting, edging, strimming, and turf care to a consistently high finish
  • Hedge cutting, pruning, and shaping of shrubs, trees, and ornamental planting
  • Seasonal horticultural works, including planting, mulching, leaf clearance, and winter maintenance
  • Weed control and basic pest/disease monitoring (in line with best practice and regulations)
  • Application of chemicals and treatments where required (PA1/PA6 desirable)
  • Use and routine maintenance of professional grounds maintenance machinery and tools
  • Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to client specifications
  • Maintain a professional attitude on site, representing the company with high-end clients
  • Follow health & safety procedures and report any issues or hazards promptly
Experience & Requirements
  • Proven experience in grounds maintenance, ideally within high-end or prestigious environments
  • Strong horticultural knowledge and attention to detail
  • PA1 & PA6 certificates desirable
  • Ability to work in a small team
  • Full UK driving licence
