A holiday accommodation provider in Inverness is in search of an experienced grounds keeper and handyman. Responsibilities include tree management, general maintenance, and safety checks on lodge amenities. The position offers 30-40 hours per week, allowing for flexibility based on preferences. Candidates with a strong maintenance background and a proactive attitude are encouraged to apply. This role is key to maintaining the standards as the site prepares for a new hotel launch.
Lodges on Loch Ness is a Holiday let site of Canadian Log Cabins, soon to be 9, as we prepare to launch our 15 bedroom hotel, Restaurant and Bar, we are looking for a grounds keeper and Handyman to join the ever growing team.
Lodges on Loch Ness is an award winning Holiday accommodation in Foyers, over the last 4 years the new owners have brought the levels of accommodation to a very high standard, purchasing all 6 Lodges from individual owners and bringing back to its former glory, as a single site.
With the purchase of the Lodges it also brought back more maintenance and more work needed on the grounds. As the business has grown, the constant high levels occupancy bring with it more wear and tear, so experienced people are needed to constantly keep the standards high.
As we prepare the site to launch the Monboddo Hotel (previously the Craigdarroch) in Spring 2026, we want to make sure we have the right team in place.

The job is offered on a 30-40 hours per week basis, depending on your preferences. If you are experienced enough, you will understand there is always something needing done on site.
