WHO WE ARE

Moja is an award-winning modern PR and personal branding business based in Newcastle.

We work with entrepreneurs, authors and senior leaders to help them get known for what they do best – through personal branding, publishing, podcasts and standout visibility.

This includes our membership, The Get Known Club, where we support business owners to build strong, visible personal brands through consistent content and creative assets.

We’re not corporate, we’re not old-school, and we’re definitely not boring.

We’re a small, ambitious team who care deeply about our clients, our work and each other. We move fast, think creatively and pride ourselves on delivering a brilliant experience at every touchpoint.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a creative, detail-led Graphic Designer to bring Moja’s client work to life visually.

You’ll work across client and internal projects, including social graphics, brand assets, podcast artwork and book covers. You’ll sometimes work directly with clients, so strong client service matters as much as strong design.

Because we’re a small team, this role also suits someone who’s happy to muck in and support the wider team when needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Design visual assets across digital and print, including social graphics, brand materials, banners, reports and presentations
  • Create artwork for podcasts and publishing projects, including podcast thumbnails and book covers
  • Translate briefs into clear, compelling design
  • Work directly with clients, handling feedback in a professional and approachable way
  • Maintain consistency across branding for Moja, our clients and The Get Known Club
  • Collaborate with the team to improve creative output
  • Prepare artwork for digital use and print
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Support the wider team when needed
  • Continue developing your design skills
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • A strong design eye, attention to detail and ability to quickly and accurately respond to briefs
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products, specifically in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (You will be asked to demonstrate your design skills as part of the interview process)
  • An interest in branding and visual storytelling
  • A client-first mindset – you care about how work is delivered, not just how it looks
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience editing video or audio content is an advantage
  • A willingness to learn and take feedback
  • Good organisation and time management
  • A positive, team-first attitude

Experience matters, but mindset matters just as much.

WHAT YOU’LL GET
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Training and development
  • Exposure to personal branding, publishing and podcast projects
  • A varied portfolio and room to grow
  • A supportive, ambitious team
