This medium-sized, fast-growing software house has won several industry awards. The company has offices in the UK and Europe and has increased revenues year-on-year at an excellent rate. They recently received significant investment and are looking to continue hiring graduates into various roles throughout the business.

You will be working as a graduate web developer for our client and will have the opportunity to work on a successful web platform using C#, ASP.Net, and ASP.NET MVC.

You will also be exposed to designing and building innovative new tools and solutions, using best development practices such as unit testing and code review, as well as optimizing and refactoring existing code.

Skills:

  • A 2:1 degree from a UK university or equivalent qualification
  • Evidence of a genuine interest in a career in software development, e.g., university coding projects, recognized coding courses, or personal projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail – crucial for debugging code
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently, whether in the office or remotely
  • Effective communication skills

In addition, the following technical skills are required:

  • Experience with a major programming language
  • Exposure to object-oriented programming
  • Some experience with C#, Java, or C++
