Secondary Teaching Assistant - Inclusive School | Waltham Forest

Salary: £95-£110 per day | Full-time | Term-time only

Location: Waltham Forest, East London (E17)

Start Date: October 2025 or sooner

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting students aged 11-16 across a range of subjects
  • Working 1:1 with pupils with SEN or EAL needs
  • Providing academic mentoring and behaviour support
  • Assisting teachers in delivering high-quality, inclusive lessons
  • Creating a positive and focused classroom environment
  • Helping students build confidence and motivation
Ideal Candidate
  • A recent graduate (2:1 or above) with strong A-levels
  • Interested in teacher training or psychology postgrad pathways
  • Experience working with young people desirable
  • Committed, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Available full-time for the full academic year
