Graduate Teaching Assistant
Do you want hands-on primary experience before moving into teacher training? Could you deliver focused 1:1 and small-group support to boost progress across KS1 and KS2?
Role timeline and pay: Immediate start until July 2026; £80 - £100 per day; Outstanding primary school, Walsall; 1:1 and small group support across KS1 and KS2
You’ll work alongside class teachers to deliver short, targeted interventions in reading, writing and maths. You’ll provide 1:1 support, guide small groups, prepare simple resources and keep brief notes on impact. You’ll reinforce routines, encourage positive behaviour and help pupils build confidence and independence.
You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, stays organised and builds rapport quickly with children. You follow guidance, use initiative and keep sessions purposeful. A strong interest in primary education and pupil progress is essential.
