Job Title: Graduate Maritime Services Sustainability Engineer

Location: Broad Oak (Hampshire)

We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Responsibilities
  • You will be working within the Engineering Function supporting the various Projects within the business, the areas of support include:
  • Helping Projects to comply with environmental product legislation and environmental & sustainability policy.
  • Helping the design teams to create sustainable designs within the constraints of the customer contract.
  • Helping the business improve its engineering processes in the area of environmental sustainability.
  • Helping to educate engineers within the business in the area of sustainability and environmental sustainability.
  • Being an active participant in an environmental sustainability community of environmental sustainability practitioners across the BAE Systems Maritime & Land Sector.

Qualification requirements
  • As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering related subject, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental/Sustainability Management or a related subject.
