About the Role

We are looking for a committed Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lambeth. This full-time role involves supporting primary-aged children with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN), including pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), communication needs, and social-emotional challenges.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work both 1:1 and within small groups, helping children access learning, regulate emotions, and develop key skills. Experience working with children is essential, and SEN or ASD experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with complex SEN and ASD

  • Assist with learning activities and behaviour regulation

  • Implement personalised strategies under teacher and SENCo guidance

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Maintain a calm, patient and nurturing approach

  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive classroom environment
