We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Rural Surveyor to join our team. You will be supported and mentored by experienced professionals as you work towards the successful completion of your Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become MRICS. The Successful candidate will gain wide-ranging experience in estate management and will be expected to Hold an MRICS accredited degree.
Location: Bradford/ Hybrid Working - minimum of 1 day per week in Bradford. This role will initially be based in Bradford but we\'re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in Summer 2026, so you\'ll be based there in the future.

The Land and Property Department are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. As a Graduate Rural Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the Estates Team in the Land and Property department at Yorkshire Water. Reporting directly to the Lead Rural Surveyor whilst working alongside other surveyors, you will be at the forefront of assisting with the management of one of the country\'s largest land holdings. Your workload will be incredibly varied from supporting with the managing of the rural, residential and recreational estates, to helping achieve and maintain compliance, dealing with Landlord and Tenant matters including, new lettings and rent reviews, helping to answer estate related enquiries, undertaking inspections, dealing with alternative land use and environmental considerations and acquisitions and disposals. In addition, you will be supporting the Lead Rural Surveyor in assisting and supporting a Project Team and Building Surveyor who are responsible for delivering maintenance and capital works across the rural estate. Regional travel will be required.
