Graduate Learning Support Assistant - Chesham, Buckinghamshire

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education?

Would you like to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, well-led primary school before training to become a teacher?

A fantastic primary school in Chesham, Buckinghamshire is looking to expand its Learning Support Team and is recruiting Graduate Learning Support Assistants to start after October Half Term.

This is a full-time, term-time-only position on a long-term contract, with opportunities for teacher training through the School Direct programme after one academic year.

Position Details:

  • Role: Graduate Learning Support Assistant
  • Location: Chesham, Buckinghamshire
  • Start Date: After October Half Term
  • Contract: Long-term, full-time
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)
  • Pay: 445- 500 per week
  • Transport: Good transport links and on-site parking available
  • Progression: Training provided with pathway into teacher training

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Work with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing one-to-one and small group support
  • Support class teachers in delivering tailored interventions
  • Contribute to the academic and emotional development of pupils across the school
  • Receive ongoing training and mentoring from experienced staff
