Job description

Role: Graduate Learning Mentor – January 2026. Job Type: Long Term Contract. Pay: £95.00‑£110.00 per day (Equivalent salary of £18,525‑£21,450). Hours: 32.5‑35 Hours Per Week (Monday to Friday).

The Role:

Degrees from childcare, coaching, psychology, education and many more, have great transferable skills and knowledge for learning mentor roles within schools.

What Roles are on offer?

• Special Needs Learning Mentor – supporting children with a range of learning, communication and behavioural needs.
• Mainstream Learning Mentor – supporting mainstream primary and secondary age students with their academic achievements, core subject curriculum and social development.
• 1:1 Learning Mentor – Working with one specific learner helping them access all aspects of their timetable, education and following their education plans.

The Ideal Applicant:

• Previous experience in schools or experience working with children/young people.
• Relevant degree or qualifications related to education or child‑care.
• Confident, committed and passionate about supporting a range of children with varying needs and abilities.
