This geo-environmental consultancy based near Derby, with over 30 years of experience in the industry and a range of new projects to work on, is seeking a driven graduate to join their team. Whether you studied geology, earth sciences, geoscience or geotechnical engineering, this is an excellent opportunity to enter the ground investigation industry and apply your educational knowledge.

The selected Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will be largely working on site on a variety of residential and commercial ground investigation projects. You will be carrying out Phase 1 Desktop Studies, Phase 2 site investigations, borehole logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, writing technical reports and soil and rock sampling.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering (or similar), hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence and live near Derby. A full right to work in the UK is also essential and a desire to work in a hands‑on, demanding role.
