Job summary

A global heavy lifting company in the UK is seeking a Graduate & Entry Level Engineer for its Offshore Services Division. Candidates will produce engineering documentation, support onsite projects, and develop innovative solutions for heavy lifting challenges. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from £31,650 to £38,000 depending on experience, as well as 25 days holiday, hybrid working options, and a fantastic annual bonus scheme. Qualifications

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
  • Graduate & Entry Level Engineer - Offshore Services Division
  • Salary £31,650 - £38,000 depending on experience
  • Working on site at the Mammoet office in Thornaby, Teesside

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Produce risk assessments, method statements, and engineering calculation packages to support on‑site projects.
  • Form part of the onsite engineering team to support project execution at sites across the globe.
  • Develop engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport challenges.
  • Create drawings, manuals, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and proprietary software.
  • Use specialist tools such as Optimoor for barge mooring design and in‑house barge ballasting software.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure safe, efficient execution.
  • Build expertise in Mammoet equipment and its applications.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong computer skills, including CAD (AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent English and UK right to work.
  • A driving licence is desirable or working towards.

(Graduate Engineers may bring additional academic experience; Entry‑Level Engineers should demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.)
