About the role

A Cover Supervisor plays a vital role in schools, supervising pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. You don't need to be a qualified teacher - just confident, organised, and ready to lead a classroom. Whether you've worked with children before or are looking for a new challenge, we offer full training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students in the teacher's absence
• Maintain good classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
• Support students with their work, answering questions when needed
• Follow the school's policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and attendance
• Act as a positive role model for students, promoting engagement and motivation
