A global leader in glass manufacturing is seeking a recent graduate to join their Chemical Analysis team. This role involves operating complex analytical equipment and requires a degree in a science-related subject, preferably chemistry. £28,500 per annum + benefits.

The role is within the Chemical Analysis team, part of the Engineering and Analysis Group within the global NSG R&D function. The team delivers key inorganic analysis of glass‑making raw materials and other associated products to NSG manufacturing operations and licensees worldwide. In addition, support is also provided to the Groups R&D project portfolio in the development of new products and processes.
This opportunity would suit individuals with a background in inorganic chemistry and a desire to develop their analytical expertise over time. Knowledge of X‑ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy would also be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Recent graduate with a science degree (ideally chemistry).
Innovative and self‑motivated.
Able to work as part of a small team with a desire to build technical knowledge.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Influential skills, able to communicate ideas clearly.
An interest in understanding internal and external customer circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs.
A full UK driving licence and car ownership would be an advantage due to limited public transport to the site.
