Location: Amey Highways office, Tatton House, 11 Caldey Road, Manchester, M239LF
Working hours per week: Monday – Friday. 36.25hrs/week

Amey is working with Trafford Council to provide Environmental, Highways and Facilities services across the borough. Within FM we look after a varied portfolio of buildings including the historic Trafford Town Hall, children’s homes, libraries, community centres and in excess of 50 schools.
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will have a varied role within the larger FM team on the Trafford Council Contract. Primarily you will be assisting the Asbestos safety advisor, the legionella officer, the mechanical engineer and electrical engineer in compliance. This will include ensuring planned works have been carried out; reading and actioning the recommendations from risk assessments and compliance reports and deputising for the above team members in providing compliance advice for asbestos, legionella and other FM compliance areas. We will provide all necessary training and mentoring to ensure this varied and fulfilling role will be a challenging but rewarding career.
