GP/Health Screener Private Patients Wilmslow

Role: GP/Health Screening Doctor

Location: Wilmslow
Contract: Permanent – salaried role with excellent benefits

Hours: 4 sessions per week
Days: Ideally Tuesday and Thursday, flexible (not Monday)

Salary: £10,400 per session, per annum

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and talented General Practitioner for our Wilmslow Clinic. Our GPs are provided time to care and enjoy an exceptional work/life balance. In this role you will provide adult primary care and health screening assessments to our patients; some children may also be seen. The patient cohort generally represents the "working well" population and there is a focus on lifestyle and preventative medicine, women’s health, and menopause.

You will join a friendly and supportive team in a role that is busy but structured, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Appointment times vary from 15 minutes for a GP appointment to 90 minutes for an in-depth health screening. You will carry out a range of procedures in GP consultations and health screenings, including taking bloods, vaccinations, smear tests, prescribing medications, antenatal checks, travel advice, and ordering further on-site tests or supplementary therapies. Patients have instant referral access to leading specialists and world-class facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide adult primary care and health screening assessments; may see some children
  • Conduct procedures at GP consultations and health screenings (e.g., bloods, vaccinations, smear tests, prescribing, antenatal checks, travel advice, on-site testing)
  • Manage patient care with the aim of lifestyle and preventative medicine
  • Coordinate with specialists when referrals are needed
  • Deliver care in a patient-centered and quality-focused manner
